Job Board corners market

By Nathan Dukes

Since the launch of the Inside SAP Job Board in March this year, the positive response has been overwhelming.

Advertisers and job seekers alike have been quick to realise the advantages of a job board which services a direct market segment and a specific target audience.

The growth of advertising on the site has been faster than any generalist job board.

Terrace Media Director Adrian Everett said the advantages of using the Inside SAP Job Board stack up quickly.

“Not only do we have a significantly lower price point, being over 70{db8ca4bbfe57dc8f9b6df9233a3a6c04f4968125edf9bb330d4f787c3a87cd09} lower cost than Seek.com.au for a casual ad, but we also reach a very targeted audience of SAP professionals,” he said.

“Recruiters must make a decision when advertising as to whether they want a broad spectrum of job applicants from their advertising, some of whom may be suitable, or whether they would like to decrease their administration by reaching a more suitable, targeted audience and receive qualified results.”

The board is now being recognised by many advertisers as a key channel for finding candidates. Equally, candidates are thriving with the ability to find roles that traditionally have been swamped amongst other industry ads on a generalist job board.

Mr Everett attributes part of the site’s success to the overall package Terrace Media offers- including the Inside SAP Digital magazine and news website.

“I think the achievement is a result of the value proposition on several fronts, from the low financial cost to the dedicated target audience of SAP professionals we boast as readers of the magazine as well.”

The job board has seen significant uptake from a wide variety of industries. The scope of advertisements is as broad as SAP itself, from government, to manufacturing, resources and IT.

If you’ve considering using the Inside SAP Job Board, now is the time act.

“Whilst our focus is on continuing to deliver significant value to the recruitment advertising reach of our customers, we cannot rule out a price increase in January 2010.  We will however always be significantly more cost effective than the generalist job boards to whom we compete for advertising budgets,” Everett said.

“To those advertisers who are likely to be advertising on a regular basis, I strongly recommend they get in touch to confirm their advertising subscription package for 2010 before prices increase beyond the fantastic introductory rates available now.”
