To help organisations struggling to make the most of the petabytes of structured and unstructured data they are producing, EY has announced a strategic alliance with OpenText.
As a leader in enterprise information management (EIM), Open Text will help to expand EY’s digital and analytical services, particularly for the company’s clients using SAP software.
“The alliance with OpenText will enable EY to address key customer issues around managing content, while simultaneously understanding patterns of behaviour and expected outcomes,” said Kimberly Connors, partner, Ernst & Young LLP, and Canadian national IT advisory leader. “Our new alliance allows us to look at content problems through a transformational lens, helping clients to predict future outcomes and improve business performance.”
The alliance sees EY joining the OpenText Global Partner Program.
“Our clients are challenged by the vast amount of data generated by the very processes that are essential to running their businesses – from checking customers’ credit, to procure-to-pay processing in acquiring goods and services, to auditing,” said Steve Watson, global performance improvement leader, EY.
“Now, through our alliance with OpenText, our clients whose businesses generate masses of data, particularly through SAP solutions across organisations and geographies will be able to use the content and data to help create exceptional customer experiences and improve strategic decision-making.”
