Accenture launches HR audit in the cloud; expands Fiori capabilities

By Freya Purnell
Accenture will deliver its Accenture HR Audit and Compliance tool as a service on the SAP HANA Cloud Platform, to complement and extend the capabilities of SuccessFactors Employee Central software.

This offering is designed to help manage the HR compliance needs of companies operating across a range of vertical categories, including highly regulated industries such as oil and gas and financial services.
The HR Audit and Compliance software automatically checks data against specified criteria and rules, enabling HR departments to identify inconsistencies in human resources data before they create significant issues for the business.
The tool can run on both SuccessFactors software in the cloud and the SAP ERP Human Capital Management solution running on premise.
“Many companies operate in a hybrid environment, with systems located both on premise and in the cloud,” said Jim Astorian, senior managing director, Accenture Software. “Delivering Accenture HR Audit and Compliance as a service on SAP HANA Cloud Platform helps our clients complete accurate audit and compliance reporting no matter where their data is hosted, simplifying the entire process and helping to reduce costly errors.”
Accenture said the service can be deployed quickly, and is designed to simplify exception checking, reduce the cost of managing quality assurance, and reduce wastage associated with erroneous or incomplete transaction and master data.
Meanwhile, Accenture has also expanded its capabilities to help clients implement and customise SAP’s Fiori suite.
According to Accenture, its industrialised approach combines broad industry knowledge, leading skills in SAP software and mobility, and reusable methods, to help deliver the new user experience SAP Fiori offers to clients tailored to their specific business requirements, without having to develop skills in SAP Fiori Basis, SAP UI5 and SAP Gateway technologies.
Accenture can customise standard SAP Fiori apps for clients, and also custom-build new mobile applications for specific industries and lines of business.
Christophe Mouille, global managing director of SAP business for Accenture, said the new approach simplifies the process of working with SAP Fiori.

“We’re committed to help clients benefit from SAP’s efforts to enhance the end-user experience and build strong skills in SAP Fiori, as well as in the latest SAP user interface and Screen Personas software, which are pivotal parts of SAP’s user experience strategy,” Mouille said.
