SAP’s acquisition of SAP SuccessFactors, has proven to be a bold move that added to the German auto parts company’s strong presence in the cloud services industry.
One of the world-class producers in the global vehicle industry announced the implementation of SAP SuccessFactors solutions to its human resources (HR) processes. Kongsberg Automotive HR department modernises its processes across its global organisation. The auto parts company made the announcement at the SuccessConnect event held in Las Vegas on 16-18 September.
These solutions were implemented across the auto parts company’s offices located in 19 countries worldwide to align HR processes to its overall organisational strategy. The company has committed itself to deliver a positive experience for its employees.

Following its transition to SAP SuccessFactors solutions, the auto parts company benefited from an integrated and seamless HR information system (HRIS). End-to-end employee lifecycle management is one of the benefits identified. During the short but sweet five-month rollout period, which also includes SAP SuccessFactors’s Employee Central, SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting and SAP SuccessFactors Learning, Kongsberg was able to simplify and standardise its global HR processes. This led to improved data quality and unified employee data which provided a holistic view of the organisation’s workforce consisting of more than 11,000 employees.
Kongsberg’s decision adds to the organisation and its employee’s sustainable success by streamlining all facets of its HR department.
