Global automotive supplier ZF Friedrichshafen will implement SAP’s S/4HANA, BW/4HANA and SuccessFactors solutions to provide a single source from which to connect with suppliers, customers and business networks, as well as provide the foundation for new digital business models.
The implementation will not only support the company’s ambitious growth strategy following its merger with automotive supplier TRW, it will extend the company’s existing IT system landscape into the cloud.
ZF will implement the SAP S/4HANA Finance solution for comprehensive financial management on one platform, better manager regulatory requirements such as International Financial Reporting Standards, and help to optimise financial processes to provide a single source of truth for corporate management.
The company will also implement SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement, the SAP HANA platform, the SAP Extended Warehouse Management application, and governance, risk and compliance solutions such as the SAP Enterprise Threat Detection application.
In the Human Capital Management arena, ZF will deploy SuccessFactors Employee Central and Talent solution for its 137,000 employees, to manage recruitment, career development and succession planning, particularly in the wake of the merger of the two companies, and plans for future acquisitions.
