Kelly Services Australia and Malaysia Airlines are among the latest APAC customers to adopt BlackLine’s Finance Controls and Automation Platform.

Around the world, the software vendor added 393 new customers in 2015 in total, with almost half of these (46 per cent) being mid-market companies – a growing segment for the company.

Also signing on during the fourth quarter of 2015 in North America were Charles River Laboratories, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Nixon Peabody LLC, Roku and San Diego Zoo, and in Europe, H&H Ferries and Trivago.

BlackLine’s international business is strengthening, with 20 per cent of new 2015 customers coming from outside North America, up from 16 per cent for the previous year.

BlackLine recently added ‘Continuous Accounting’ capabilities to its platform, allowing finance and accounting departments to escape the grind of period-end processes, and instead maintain a real-time or near real-time view of reconciled, checked and verified financial information.
