Asset management firm Broadspectrum has overhauled its procurement operations, integrating its SAP ERP system with a range of solutions from the Ariba portfolio.
The solutions, including SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing, Collaborative Sourcing, Collaborative Commerce and Contract Invoicing, now allows Broadspectrum to drive a fully automated, closed-loop process for the efficient management of the requisition-to-pay process, completely with the SAP Ariba platform.
The integration with SAP ERP ensures that the system of record is provided with the required finance, accrual and payment information, as well as managing vendor master data and supplier performance data.
Broadspectrum’s procurement function is able to view all requests and determine what action to take, including creating an RFP or run an auction, and set up call off arrangements that help drive savings and manage compliance.
The company shared its experience at this week’s SAP Ariba Live event in Sydney.
“At Broadspectrum, we are focused on enhancing the performance, integrity and output of our clients’ businesses and assets to deliver real outcomes using market-leading processes and technology platforms,” said Kevin McCafferty, chief procurement officer, Broadspectrum.
“With SAP Ariba, we can achieve these same goals across our own operations, leveraging the company’s cloud-based applications and business network to drive a more efficient and collaborative process for managing our spend and suppliers that drives savings, efficiency and compliance.”
