SAP’s on-demand solution, SAP Business ByDesign, is now available in Australia, several years after it was initially slated for launch here.
Business ByDesign is targeted at small to medium enterprises, as well as subsidiaries of larger companies which work with SAP Business Suite.
Announcing general availability of the second release of the solution, SAP said the new version delivers a significant number of enhancements requested by customers since the product’s launch.
SAP plans to maintain this type of collaborative approach with the solution – following a successful pilot program in German-speaking countries during the first half of 2011, it is providing a global community platform in English for customers and partners to provide further ideas for future enhancements.
The latest feature pack delivers further professional services functionality to address additional industry needs, including customer contract management, support managed services and enhanced revenue recognition automation.
Encouraging co-innovation on the solution by partners and customers, the latest version of the SAP Business ByDesign studio also provides more opportunities to develop and deploy customer- and industry-specific add-on functionality.
