The Federal Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development has released a request for tender to establish a panel of IT service providers.
The department has an existing panel in place, which will expire in February 2017, and is seeking both IT contract personnel and IT specialist services in 19 categories of service.
Among the categories are application development (including testing), systems integration, enterprise, information and application architects, systems integration, business reporting and intelligence, business and systems analysis, as well as software asset and licensing management, and ICT strategic planning and advice.
Specifically in the application development space, the department is seeking providers for the design, development, enhancement, testing and implementation of applications including SAP, alongside Oracle, SQL, Java, and a range of Microsoft solutions, including CRM/Dynamics and .NET.
The department also named SAP and related third party products among the suite of business intelligence solutions currently in use, alongside Tableau, SAS, SPSS, IBM Cognos, R Studio, and a range of Microsoft tools.
The term of the panel will be up to seven years, made up of an initial three year term and two extensions of two years each.
The RFT closes on 5 December 2016.
