DXC Technology, a services solution provider, was founded in April 2017 when CSC and HPE Enterprise Services were combined. Recently, it has announced its newest acquisition: Australia-based Bluleader.
Blueleader is a systems integrator and consulting partner based in North Sydney, New South Wales Australia. Their primary focus is on commerce solutions, customer relationship management, field service management and marketing automation.
The company has a close working relationship with Microsoft and SAP. They were also the receivers of the SAP’s 2019 Customer Experience Partner of the Year award for Australia-New Zealand and Asia Pacific-Japan regions.
According to Stuart Dickinson, the director, and general manager of DXC Oxygen, Bluleader will now become part of the DXC Oxygen business, the umbrella for DXC’s SAP practice located in Australia and New Zealand. The Oxygen brand is unique to DXC’s Australia and New Zealand business. It came from CSC’s acquisition of UXC almost a year before DXC was established.
Originally, DXC Oxygen had 400 SAP consultants who make up almost 6% of DXC’s 7,000 SAP consultants worldwide. During the interview with CRN, Dickinson said that the acquisition of Bluleader adds about 800 SAP CX specialists to DXC Oxygen.
“We think about solutions globally. This also strengthens our skills and capabilities around SAP customer solution sets. We had these before, but they’re strengthened. And we get new skills related to SAP S/4HANA.”
The acquisition of Bluleader is only one of 17 acquisitions for DXC. They have been acquiring companies since 2017 with Tribridge, a provider of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions as the beginning. They have also acquired other companies such as Syscom, Luxoft, EG, TESM, BusinessNow, argodesign and System Partners.
The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
