North American technology partner Delaware Consulting will put its money where its mouth is when it is the first customer to go live on S/4HANA Professional Services Cloud.

Delaware Consulting was recently selected as one of the first six global resellers of SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

Among the other partners chosen to be resellers of S/4HANA Cloud were Birchman and Bluefin Solutions, both based in the UK, and Plaut in Australia and New Zealand.

Delaware plans to complete the deployment of the cloud solution to the entire global organisation in April 2017, furthering its “strategic commitment” to delivering similar cloud solutions to its customer base.

“Based on our deep knowledge of the services business, we are also engaged in a three-year co-development program with SAP to enhance SAP S/4HANA Professional Service Cloud. This co-development expertise, combined with the experience we gain through our own implementation journey, is enabling us to deepen our knowledge of the SAP cloud offering extensively,” said Filip Decostere, partner, Delaware Consulting.

Marc Van Der Zon, vice president of business development, Delaware Consulting, said SAP’s S/4HANA Cloud provides customers with the building blocks for a complete cloud-based ecosystem.

“By implementing SAP S/4HANA Cloud, our customers will also be able to extend core SAP S/4HANA Cloud functionality with development capabilities based on SAP HANA Cloud Platform and other cloud solutions, such as SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer, as well as SAP Ariba and SAP SuccessFactors solutions,” Van Der Zon said. “The template-based approach of rolling out SAP S/4HANA in the cloud aligns well with Delaware’s industry-specific FAST solutions offering, which builds on a standards-based implementation methodology.”

Currently, there are four editions of S/4HANA Cloud: S/4HANA Finance Cloud, S/4HANA Professional Services Cloud, S/4HANA Marketing Cloud, and S/4HANA Enterprise Management Cloud, with S/4HANA Manufacturing Cloud to be forthcoming in June 2017.
