Fujitsu Australia has unleashed its service for rapid migration of SAP Business Warehouse to SAP HANA this week, a service which has been qualified by SAP Australia.
Fujitsu undertook one of the first Australasian migrations to the SAP HANA platform, for Frucor Beverages Limited.
Fujitsu said its expertise with SAP HANA, infrastructures and services enable customers to more fully exploit the potential of the platform.
“Becoming an SAP-qualified provider of rapid database migration of SAP BW to SAP HANA underscores our strong relationship with SAP and our ongoing commitment to delivering excellence in projects based on SAP solutions for enterprise customers,” says Les Davey, vice president, business and application services, Fujitsu.
At Frucor, the implementation of HANA enabled processing of data up to 10 times quicker than what was provided by the original data warehouse. This enabled faster decision-making, reduced IT workloads and a simplified architecture.
The rapid database migration of SAP BW to SAP HANA is one of the SAP Rapid Deployment solution, which will allow customers to migrate with pre-determined time, cost and service scope.
“With its proven expertise in supporting in-memory platforms, we are pleased to have Fujitsu on board as an SAP-qualified provider of rapid database migration of SAP BW to SAP HANA,” says Greg Miller, vice president and general manager, global partner operations in Australia and New Zealand, SAP. “SAP and its partners are helping organisations remove complexity and simplify their business through solutions like SAP HANA, helping them focus on innovation.”
