Greenlight partners with SAP on regulation management solutions

SAP software solution and technology partner Greenlight Technologies has signed a global agreement with SAP SE to resell its Regulation Management solution as the SAP Regulation Management application by Greenlight and its Access Violation Management solution as the SAP Access Violation Management application by Greenlight.

According to Anand Adya, chief executive officer, Greenlight Technologies, there is great duplication of effort in regulatory initiatives within organisations, because they are probably managed in silos.

“Our solutions now being resold by SAP will further enable customers to centrally manage strategic regulatory initiatives and align with internal control activities so that compliance just happens as a byproduct of internal control best practices,” said Adya.

As a unified, enterprise-wide solution, SAP Regulation Management will enable to capture, assess and respond to regulatory changes quicker and more accurately, accelerating compliance with new and changing mandates.

“Companies need to meet the challenges of rising and dynamic regulatory expectations across all industries,” said Kevin McCollom, group vice president and general manager, governance, risk and compliance, SAP.

“Through our global reseller agreement with Greenlight, we are expanding our commitment to customers who must comply with multiple regulations, helping them to further leverage the investments they have already made. Providing strategic choices for CFOs and CIOs that support board mandates form the foundation of our value proposition. We will be extending that expertise to help transform regulatory compliance and management of business controls.”

The solutions will also help to automate execution and testing of controls across business applications, and take appropriate remediation actions where risk exposure is high.

Greenlight is a member of the SAP PartnerEdge program, and was the winner of the Best Big Data Startup Award at the SAP Start-Up Forum in 2012.
