On the Move: BT People builds on management team


BT People, launched in 2014, is expanding its team with the appointment of Ashley Johnson as director – sales and strategy.

Johnson brings to the role 15 years’ experience in business development, recruitment and general management, having successfully operated his own labour hire company. He holds an MBA and a Masters in Marketing.

Johnson will be responsible for spearheading the business development of BT People, which specialises in systems-led business transformation projects across Australia and New Zealand. He will also focus on strategic partnerships with key accounts to drive benefits for the BT People customer base.

“Ashley brings a wealth of experience across a range of industries to BT People.  We see Ashley complementing the existing management of BT People with fresh ideas and innovative ways to engage with our customers,” said Adrian Everett, chief executive, BT People.

On his appointment, Johnson said, “BT People has been achieving phenomenal growth since its inception.  I intend to continue that growth, whilst strengthening the existing customer base with some innovative and sometimes disruptive solutions which I believe will add value to each and every customer engagement at BT People.”
