The NSW Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA) has put on hold a planned CRM upgrade project.
An article on zdnet.com.au last week said the RTA had delayed the project “re-evaluate requirements” of the tender.
The RTA put the project to invitation only tender in late July 2009, accepting submissions from HCL Axon, Fujitsu Australia, SAP ANZ and Wipro.
Submissions were due to close on September 1st 2009.
The project was for the replacement of SAP CMR 4.0 with SAP CRM 7.0, and the replacement of their current Crystal Reporting from SAP CRM 4.0 with BI 7.0 Reporting from CRM 7.0.
According to tender records, the RTA had planned to complete the technical upgrade by December 1st 2009, and the functional upgrade by March 1st 2009.
The RTA upgraded their SAP financial systems in late 2008 with partners Supply Chain Consulting and Presence of IT.
At the time the organisation said they planned to upgrade from CRM 3.5 to CRM 2007 sometime during 2009.
