Enterprises will respond positively to the ongoing extension of SAP’s hosted offerings and cloud-based delivery models, according to analyst firm IDC’s latest MarketScape report on major vendors in the worldwide SAP implementation ecosystem.
“The SAP implementation services market has evolved in four critical areas since our last evaluation in 2012; namely the development of SAP HANA as a platform, more industry-specific ad cloud-based SAP solutions, a new focus on customer experience and digital marketing, and an emphasis on intellectual property including Rapid Deployment Solutions,” said Ali Zaidi, senior analyst, IT consulting and systems integration business strategies, IDC.
The MarketScape evaluation for 2014 saw Accenture, HCL and IBM placed in the ‘Leaders’ category.
