Nürnberg-based open source software leader, SUSE LINUX GmbH, has named Infosys as the first top-tier global solution partner in its partner program, in response to Infosys’ ongoing commitment to integrating SUSE solutions into its own SAP services on the Infosys managed private cloud.
The latest step in the long-term commitment by Infosys was naming SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications as its preferred platform for SAP HANA transformation programs.
“With this partnership we will be taking the lead, by taking customers through platform migration, simplification and consolidation of previous SAP landscapes to S/4HANA, based on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications,” said Narsimha Rao Manepalli, Infosys EVP, head, cloud, infrastructure and security, and head, Infosys Validation Solutions.

The SUSE partner program provides the company’s preferred channel partners with a host of resources, including training and certification pathways, to help meet SUSE partners meet the needs of their customers. The program also provides incentives to recognise and reward partner engagement with SUSE.
