Util Plus stakes claim on SAP utilities market

New Zealand SAP services provider Util Plus has signed a partnership agreement with SAP.

“Following the recent successful completion of a major utilities project, the SAP partnership agreement further cements Util Plus as New Zealand’s leading SAP for Utilities solution provider,” said Jens Richter, director, Util Plus.

“More than 2600 utility companies use SAP software in over 70 countries – from small utilities with less than 1000 contracts to large corporates with over 16 million customers covering all segments of the utilities market: they operate in electricity, gas, water across generation, distribution and retail. It’s a success story that we want to extend to New Zealand.”

Most recently, Util Plus completed a major SAP roll-out for one of New Zealand’s largest energy retailers, Mercury Energy, consolidating all commercial and industry energy customers on a single integrated platform.
